- Sold the vision for, created the plan for and lead an e-business assessment of the
truck sales division of Rush Enterprises, Inc.
- Results: Identified and prioritized business improvement opportunities in the areas
of BPR, web site enhancements, data warehousing and application development with
total estimated benefits in excess of $17 million per year. The executives were pleased
with the findings and the company is implementing many of the recommended projects.
- Planned and lead the assessment of the I/T division of TeleCheck Services, Inc.
- Results: Presented a list of top 5 projects and other business improvement opportunities.
The client has finished the first few recommended projects and is considering implementing
the rest.
- Created the vision, execution plan and lead an e-business assessment of one of the
main scholarship programs managed by the State of Louisiana's Office of Student Financial
Aid.
- Results: The client agreed to be a Reference for my practice and has already implemented
many of the recommendations
- The Executive Vice President of the Systems Group of Temple Inland Financial Services,
Inc. personally selected me to facilitate the creation of a high-level strategic
plan for the systems group.
- Results: The recommendations were accepted by the client without any major changes
- Participated in a study to identify opportunities for business improvement for North
Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospital System.
- Results: Conducted interviews in radiology, pharmacy, lab and surgery departments
to define several simple projects that would save time without affecting the quality
of patient care.
- Designed a new sales process for Hyprotech, Inc. This was in response to the need
of the company to move from selling software alone to selling software and services.
- Results: The Company dedicated resources to automate the recommended process.
- Developed a methodology and authored business improvement program manuals for the
refining, petrochemical, batch and polymer operations. Co-developed and executed
novel sales and customer support strategies
- Results: Won new business in excess of $15 million in 3 years
- Developed and presented a model for estimating ROI for enterprise management software
system for Laredo Independent School District.
- Results: The client agreed with the numbers and is implementing the solution.
- Designed and internally marketed a KM database called BrainComp for Aspen Technology,
Inc. This was in 1996.
- Results: Initial tests were very successful.
